Hemp Regulatory Brief Subscription Terms
Version 1.0. October 8, 2026. Enrollment and payment collection remain unavailable until billing activation. These terms describe the planned subscription service.
1. Provider and subscription
Appleton Seed Solutions LLC provides Hemp Regulatory Brief, an independent regulatory intelligence publication for business use. Contact: appletonseedsolutions@gmail.com. Mailing address: 212 N 2nd St, STE 100, Richmond, KY 40475.
The founding subscription costs $29 USD per month. It includes one weekly brief covering relevant federal developments and up to five states agreed during onboarding, together with supplemental alerts for material developments identified within that coverage. Applicable taxes, if any, will be disclosed at checkout before payment authorization.
The complimentary sample covers Minnesota, Tennessee and Kentucky to illustrate the format. It does not limit the states available for a paid subscription or establish a promise to monitor every state simultaneously.
2. Onboarding and agreed coverage
Before billing begins, provide your business name, contact and delivery email, requested states, a short description of your business and products, and the regulatory questions or priorities you want the brief to address. Do not submit confidential client information, trade secrets, personal medical information, passwords or payment details through this intake.
For the standard subscription, enter one to five states and your business context at checkout. Those selections define your standard coverage when enrollment is completed, and your enrollment confirmation will restate them with delivery arrangements and the service start date. If you need help choosing states or want custom work, use the inquiry path before paying. If an entry is incomplete, exceeds five states or cannot be supported, we will contact you to resolve it. If we cannot agree on the scope, we will stop future billing and refund the initial payment rather than deliver a different scope without your agreement.
We use your priorities to focus the publication. They do not create an obligation to answer every question, complete filings or provide individualized consulting. Coverage changes must be agreed in writing. More than five states, deep research, submission support and other custom work require a separate scope and price approved by you. We will not add paid work without your authorization.
3. First payment and automatic renewal
The first $29 payment is charged when you authorize the standard subscription at checkout, or after written scope confirmation if you used the inquiry path. It pays for one monthly service period in advance. There is no free trial and no commitment beyond the first paid month.
Unless canceled, the subscription automatically renews at $29 each month and your authorized payment method is charged in advance for the next service period. The checkout and confirmation will show the renewal schedule. Billing dates follow the payment processor's disclosed monthly schedule, including its treatment of shorter months.
Automatic renewal requires your affirmative consent, separate from general agreement to these terms. We will provide an enrollment confirmation with the price, agreed states, billing schedule, cancellation instructions and a copy or link to the applicable terms. Payment information is handled through the payment processor. Do not email card or bank details to us.
4. Weekly delivery and limits
Delivery is every Monday at 9:00 a.m. Central time (America/Chicago). Your first brief is the next scheduled Monday after the agreed service start, no later than seven calendar days after that start. We will confirm your designated business reader during onboarding. A monthly service period may contain four or five weekly issues depending on the calendar. When no material development is identified, the weekly issue may be a status summary rather than a newly enacted rule announcement.
Alerts are supplemental editorial updates, not continuous real time monitoring or a guaranteed notification of every development. Reports reflect the assessment date and sources identified in the issue. Laws, agency positions and available sources may change after publication. We will correct material errors brought to our attention and label substantive corrections.
The subscription does not include legal representation, legal opinions, product approval, compliance certification, laboratory testing, government filings, lobbying services or a guarantee of regulatory outcomes. It does not create an attorney client relationship. Consult qualified counsel and the applicable regulator before making decisions requiring legal advice or authorization. Forecasts are dated analyst judgments and are not guarantees.
5. Cancellation
Cancel future renewals at any time using the cancellation link in your Square subscription communications, if available, or by emailing appletonseedsolutions@gmail.com from your registered subscription email. Include your business name and say that you want to cancel the subscription. No phone call, retention meeting or explanation is required.
Cancellation takes effect for future renewals when the request is received. If a renewal is processed after a cancellation received before that renewal, we will refund that renewal. We will confirm cancellation and the end of your paid service period by email. Access continues through the period already paid for unless you request an earlier end.
Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not cancel a paid subscription. Conversely, canceling a subscription stops future billing without requiring a separate marketing opt out. You may request both in one message. Necessary billing, service and cancellation messages are separate from optional marketing.
6. Refund policy
The first paid month is a minimum service period. We do not ordinarily provide partial refunds for a change of mind after service begins; cancellation prevents the next renewal. This does not limit refunds required by law or correction of duplicate, unauthorized or erroneous charges.
If we cannot begin the agreed service or cannot provide a paid period, we will offer an appropriate refund for the undelivered service. We may offer an extension or credit instead only with your agreement. Contact us promptly about a delivery or billing problem so we can investigate and correct it.
7. Business use and confidentiality
The subscribing business may use reports internally and share them with its employees and professional advisers for that business's own planning. It may not resell reports, distribute them publicly or use them to operate a competing paid publication without written permission. Rights in third party source material remain with the respective owners. Linking to the public sample is permitted.
Research uses independent public sources. Subscriber priorities are used to administer and focus the service. We do not include confidential subscriber information in issues or share it with other subscribers. Do not provide confidential information that is unnecessary for the service. Any more detailed confidentiality arrangement requires a separate agreement.
8. Changes, interruptions and termination
We will give at least 30 days' advance written notice of a proposed price change or material reduction in coverage. We will obtain fresh affirmative consent before charging an increased price; absent consent, we will end the subscription after the paid period rather than silently charge more.
We may pause access for payment failure and will explain how to resolve it. Payment processor fees or retries are not additional subscriber charges unless expressly disclosed and authorized. If we discontinue the service, we will stop future billing and refund prepaid service that we cannot provide. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow the parties to exclude.
9. Checkout consent text
Unchecked box A: “I agree to the Hemp Regulatory Brief Subscription Terms, version 1.0, and the states and coverage confirmed for my business.”
Unchecked box B: “I authorize a $29 USD charge now for the first month and automatic $29 monthly charges until I cancel. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown before payment. I can cancel future renewals through my subscription cancellation link or by emailing appletonseedsolutions@gmail.com. My access continues through the paid period.”
Optional marketing consent must be separate and unchecked. Neither subscription acceptance nor payment authorization should automatically enroll the customer in unrelated marketing.
